The Blues King passed away! B.B. King was 89 years old.

B.B. King passed ayway at the age of 89, on Friday, 15th of May 2015 in Las Vegas. The legendary bluesman was struggling with medical condition.

“The Blues King” has been having a hard time with his health. At the begining of May, he went to hospital. According to the off the record information, he had had a stroke. Other sources claimed that he had been sent to IR due to diabetes and high blood pressure.

After some time B.B. King had left the hospital and has been taken care of at his house in Las Vegas. He died just before his 90th birthday.

Legendary bluesman was born in 16th of September 1925 in Itta Bena, Missisipi. On stage since 1947. Recorded 59 albums (43 studio and 16 live albums).

He had been awarded on numerous occasions. He had been given 15  Grammy Awards, 6 for the Best Blues Album and 3  for the Best Blues Track.

In 1980, B.B. King’s name was put on the Blues Hall of Fame and in 1987 to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
