Blues-Kalarus awards given

“Twój Blues” quartely magazine announced results of another poll – BLUES TOP. Check out who was appreciated by the readers of the magazine. Suwałki Blues Festival was nominated in the Eevent of the Year category.

The awards – well known as Bluesy-Kalarusy will be given on the 23th of April at the Culture Centre in Chorzów.

The readers voted in 24 categories – 13  Polish categories and 11 world categories. In the Discovery of the Year tiumphed Blues Junkers – the band that won second edition of the THE BLUES BANDS’ CONTEST during 8th edition of SBF 2015 – HAVE A LOOK HERE!

Suwałki Blues Festival was nominated in the Event of the Year category, but this year it had to give credit to other blues events.

Two postmortal distinctions were given to B.B. King. “The king of blues” in the Male Vocalist of the Year category was better than Earla Thomasa, who performed twice in Suwałki.
