This is an acoustic disclosure of blues, rythm’n’blues, funky and rock’n’roll based on both their own compositions as well as on the blues standards.

The band was set up in Warsaw in October 2010 by the guitar player Włodek Sobczak, former member of Full Lightt Blues Band which used to play in Mechanik Club in the ‘70s.Włodek had in 2010 album ‘Blues na biało’ recorded and published. The record received good reviews and was presented on radio station’s air on many ocassions. In October 2010 the band played live in Andrzej Jerzyk’s audition in Radio Centrum Kalisz.

The other member of the band is Mirosław Borkowski – an excellent, experienced guitar player and vocalist, the former member of Full Light Blues Band, who recorded and took part in many music projects for e.g. in the legendary group Country Family.

Another member of the group is Arek Osenkowski – an excellent saxophonist. In the ‘90s he played over hundred concerts (fist record) with the Funkret band. Over the next years he has been collaborating with many blues bands (3 records), for e.g. with Magda Piskorczyk. He recorded two live records in Radio Gdańsk and Radio dla Ciebie. Moreover, he collaborated with Stare Dobre Małżeństo and played with them on many concerts promoting the album. He collaborated with Adam Ziemianim – the poet and songwriter for Stare Dobre Małżeństwo, from Kracow.

In July 2011 Blues Point played two concerts during Suwałki Blues Festival. That concerts was appreciated by the public for the fact of the instrumentarium – two acoustic guitars and a saxophone.
