FINGERSTYLE BOB & THE BLUES SOCIETY (PL)

The band was formed in 2007 by the guitar player and vocalist Robert Kordylewski and with the cooperation of well-known blues bands’ musicians: Boogie Chilli and Wielka Łódź. Current form, members and name has existed since 2013.

The band consists of bluesmen with more than 30 years of instrumental and entertaining experience who played hundreds of gigs in blues clubs in Poland and abroad and also performed at major Polish festivals such as Rawa Blues Festival, Gdynia Blues Festival, or Polish Boogie Festival.

The band’s sound is mainly based on “fingerstyle” by Robert with all its boon, but the charismatic guitar “slide” by Jasiek and strong harmonica attack by Leszek perfectly complement the space.

Their concert repertoire consists of the band’s songs as well as the blues standards but in the band’s own arrangements, kept in a climate of a “country blues”, enriched with jazz harmonies, syncopated with swing rhythms, combined with the characteristic pulse of the Chicago blues.
