A legendary guitarist and an excellent bluesman – Buddy Guy will be awarded with a special Grammy Award!

A legendary bluesman – Buddy Guy will receive a Grammy Award. He will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Buddy Guy will collect his seventh Grammy Award on 8th of February 2015, during a venue at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This statue will be a special one, for the artist will be appreciated for all of his contributions to the development of blues and music in general.

Buddy  received his first Grammy in 1991 for outstanding album “Damn Right I Got The Blues”.

uy is one of the most important blues guitarists in the history. His style is admired by the world’s biggest tycoons of guitar such as: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards and Mark Knopfler. Buddy’s first recordings are now classics. Other ones are waiting to be classified as such. The artist has been continuing to record more albums ever since, surprising his fans with the sounds each time. Buddy has recorded acoustically countryblues (“Blues Singer”) or even grunge (“Sweet Tea”).

Outstanding 79-year-old guitarist still keeps on performing, surprising everyone with incredible strength in his voice, verve on stage, charming the audience during his performances.
