Australian guitarist and vocalist ORIANTHI will perform at the Suwałki Blues Festival 2026.

Australian guitarist and vocalist Orianthi has long been considered one of the most spectacular and versatile guitarists in contemporary rock. Her collaboration with Michael Jackson brought her worldwide fame – he chose her for his “This Is It” tour. She has also performed alongside such giants as Alice Cooper and Richie Sambora, building a reputation as a guitar virtuoso with a unique stage presence. Carlos Santana has also long admired Orianthi’s talent, saying: “If I were to pass the baton to someone, Orianthi would be my first choice.”
Although her music has veered between rock, pop, and hard rock over the years, blues has always remained one of Orianthi’s most important sources of inspiration. The artist emphasizes her fascination with classic blues-rock of the 1960s and 1970s, and her distinctive playing style – full of expressive solos based on a blues lilt – stems from this tradition.
Orianthi’s latest album, “Some Kind of Feeling,” marks a distinct shift towards blues-rock. The album combines energetic guitar playing with a soulful feel and an organic, analog sound. The track “First Time Blues,” featuring Joe Bonamassa, has particularly captured the attention of fans. Critics emphasize that the album showcases Orianthi at their most authentic and bluesy in years.
The Suwałki Blues Festival performance will be Orianthi’s first concert in Poland—and a unique opportunity to see an artist who combines the rock energy of stadium stages with the emotional power of blues.
