Five bands will take part in the Polish Blues Challenge 2025 during the 17th edition of the Suwałki Blues Festival 2024. The Polish Blues Challenge 2025, which is a ticket for performers from Poland to participate in the European Blues Challenge 2025, will take place on 13 July 2024 as part of the Suwałki Blues Festival 2024.

Representatives of the organizer of the Polish Blues Challenge 2025 qualification: Bogdan Topolski – Artistic Director of SBF and Jan Chojnacki – SBF Program Council after listening to 12 submitted applications from the bands:

The bands will perform on July 13, 2024 during the Polish Blues Challenge 2025 as part of the Suwałki Blues Festival 2024 on the main stage in the Konstytucji 3 Maja Park. They will fight for qualification to the European Blues Challenge 2025, which will take place in Split, Croatia, on April 3-4, 2025, and the Grand Prix prize funded by the President of Suwałki, Czesław Renkiewicz – a statuette and a cash prize. The order in which the teams will perform will be determined by drawing lots before the auditions begin.

The best band will be selected by a jury appointed by the Organizer.

We invite all blues bands from our country to send applications to participate in the POLISH BLUES CHALLENGE 2025, which is a qualification for the EUROPEAN BLUES CHALLENGE 2025 as part of the SUWAŁKI BLUES FESTIVAL 2024. The qualifications will select the best blues performer from Poland, who will represent our country as part of the European Blues Challenge 2025 in Split, Croatia. And the winner, in addition to the qualifications, will also be awarded the following prize: Grand Prix of the Suwałki Blues Festival – an award from the Mayor of Suwałki (statuette) along with a cash prize. The selection of bands for the qualifications will be made by the Program Council of the Suwałki Blues Festival, established by order of the Mayor of Suwałki, based on the submitted musical materials together with the application. The organizer of the POLISH BLUES CHALNEGE 2025 qualification is the Suwałki Cultural Center and the Municipal Office in Suwałki.
