TORTILLA is a well-known band that has had a lot of blues achievements and is presenting, as one of a few groups in Poland, authentic electric blues. Its inpiration is taken fromthe blues roots, but clearly breaks imposed in its mainstream genre,  convention and in this way Tortilla follows its own way. As the result, we have a unique and recognizable style, which is characterized by respect for the tradition of black performers, rock’n’roll energy which is typical of the white musicians and jazz pulse.

The biggest advantages of TORTILLA are lively concerts, excellent contact with the audience, the way they interpret the songs and above all – unusual timbre of the lead vocalist. The band has performed more than 1100 times on major national blues festivals and concerts throughout the country and abroad, for e.g. in: The Netherlands, France, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Ukraine, Belarus. The group has also pergormed on one stage with the stars of blues music such as:Johnny Winter, Carey Bell, Big Joe Turner, Mick Taylor, Carlos Johnson, Charlie Musselwhite, Sugar Blue, Eric Sardinas, Tony McPhee, Guitar Crusher and Stan Webb‘s Chicken Shack.
