The Lost Boys band was formed 2009 in Thessaloniki Greece by Xristos Tsif (guitarist- singer-songwriter of the band). Xristos took the band name by his favorite teen movie (The Lost Boys, 1987). The sound of the band is varied while their strong influence from blues country artists (Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, Marshall Tucker Band,Vince Gill,Junior Brown,Rory Gallagher) is prominent within the sound of the band, psychedelic tunes, slide guitar, chicken pickin’style, violin , harmonica , hammond and Xristos 52′ Telecaster comes along to create an interesting blend in the rhythm and melody of their songs.

They have been gigging around and shared the stage with many bands around the country and many festivals for a few years with the same energy like back in the old days and their fans are gradually growing more and more. The lineup first formed from guys that were actually from the same village, being close friends since they were kids. From 2009 to date many musicians have passing through this band but the philosophy always still the same.
