King Howl, from Sardinia, Italy, plays heavy blues — raw blues filtered through stoner rock, ‘70s classic rock, funk, and punk. Since their debut album King Howl Quartet (2012), they’ve stood out with an explosive sound and powerful live shows. Follow-up releases like Truck Stop EP (2014), Rougarou (2017), and Homecoming (2023) cemented their place on the European scene, mixing gritty blues with fresh, modern tones. The band has toured extensively across Europe, playing festivals like Pietrasonica, Duna Jam, Narcao Blues, and Freiburg Fuzz Fest, and sharing stages with Mud Morganfield, Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man, and Siena Root. King Howl’s music is a wild, on-the-road blues rock journey — honest, loud, and full of soul.
