Farlowe’s long career began in the 50s. Farlowe, fascinated with the skiffle style, founded The Thunderbirds group, which until 1962 had been a semi-professional formation. Then, he recorded the single “Air Travel”.

The commercial success came in 1966, when his version of the Rolling Stones song “Out Of Time”, produced by Mick Jagger, wandered to the very top of the English charts. Then, Farlowe recorded several hits, including “Ride On Baby” (1966) and “Handbags And Gladrags” (1967) and some of soulful pop albums. In his long music career Farlowe played with giants such as the Colosseum (he recorded two albums with them) and Atomic Rooster.

Fans of the singer say that he is “beyond time” – his voice doesn’t get old it just maturates.
