Jazz Band Ball Orchestra (originally Jazz Band Ball), regarded as the oldest traditional Polish band was formed in 1962. thanks to the the late trumpeter Jan Kudyk and a group of students from the Krakow Academy of Music. The debut took place druring the Competition at the Jazz nad Odrą festival in 1965, where the group won the first prize. This event marked the beginning of lasting to this day countless string of concerts in Poland and almost all over the world. The group has participated at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Hague, Dixieland Meeting in Oberhausen (Germany) and several times at the famous Dixieland Jazz Jubilee in Sacramento (USA). Moreover, it has also collaborated with many distinguished musicians, including famous trumpeter Wallace Davenport.

Stanley Breckenridge is a pianist and  a singer, a doctorate in musicology and a lecturer at the Department of Afro-American Studies at California State University in Fullerton. He was also a lecturer at the University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska and at the Jagiellonian University. He has performed solo and with other musicians in a number of European countries, Japan and the USA. He released nine albums. With the formation Jazz Band Ball Orchestra collaborates since 2013.
