We have recently started cooperation between our festivals and an blues artist from Sardinia – ANDREA DE LUCA – will appear at Suwałki Blues Festival 2024. The festivals also belong to the European Blues Union blues association. NARCAO BLUES FESTIVAL 2024
From July 24th to 27th, Narcao Blues returns to the heart of Sulcis, the longest-running blues festival in Sardinia and one of the most anticipated events of the island’s musical summer. Since its first edition in 1989, the festival has been closely linked to Narcao, a town located sixty kilometers from Cagliari and sixteen from Carbonia. Over the course of more than three decades, numerous top artists have taken the stage set up in Piazza Europa, including leading figures from the international blues scene such as Joe Bonamassa, John Mayall, Peter Green, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, and many others. This prestigious list is set to expand with the upcoming musical nights in Narcao this July, featuring the English-Polish band Moore Plays Moore feat. Jack Moore, Brazilian artist Artur Menezes, American bands Southern Avenue, Jason Ricci, Selwyn Birchwood, and Tommy Castro, the legendary Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre, and Italian musicians Cek Franceschetti & The Stompers.
