Another band is a rock quartet from Atlanta that adds their own twist to the American music.  Their sound has been described as ”two slides, a voice and a groove” – It’s DELTA MOON (USA).

Delta Moon (USA) is a rock quartet (in its roots) from Atlanta, Georgia, that features the unique double slide guitars of Tom Gray on lap steel and Mark Johnson on bottleneck slide. Although the group’s sound is based solidly in American roots music, they always manage to add their own twist. Vocalist Tom Gray writes the band’s original material. Tom’s songs have been recorded by Cyndi Lauper (including the hit „Money Changes Everything”), Manfred Mann, Carlene Carter, Bonnie Bramlett and many others. Delta Moon’s sound has been described as ”two slides, a voice and a groove”.

Career highlights:
● Delta Moon was the winner of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee,2003.
● In 2008 the Roots Music Association named Tom Gray the Blues Songwriter of the Year.
● Delta Moon’s music has featured in television shows such as: Showtime, Lifetime, the Food Network & many more.
● The band tours extensively in the United States, Canada and Europe.
● Blues411 named Turn Around When Possible one of the best live blues albums of 2013.
